You can’t go wrong with the classics. Luke Skywalker, the plucky kid from Tatooine who saves the Rebellion and defeats the Empire, is an instantly recognizable character. The name “Luke” is also a cute moniker for a cat or dog!


Afghan Hound

Bonus points if you get a pair of siblings and name them “Luke” and “Leia”. Princess Leia Organa, eventually a general of the Rebellion and Resistance, is the beating heart of the franchise. Her wit and charm made her an icon, so this name is perfect for a charming pet.
